I thought it would be a good time to check in since the hectic holidays are over for now.
I got back last week from a cabin in Gatlinburg and I feel totally rejuvenated. I suppose that is how one would feel after logging so much time in a hot tub.
"Naughty Pines" was a spectacular cabin. It was cozy and spacious at the same time. The view was fantastic. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
But you don't have to take my word for it.
Check it out for yourself here: http://www.smokymtndreams.com/cabin?id=285
The peeps and I went downtown and hustled and bustled with the rest of the 150,000 people the news said the New Year's festivities would bring out until we found a Mexican restaurant at the end of the strip where we could perch and drink festive margaritas. With full tummies we climbed the hill to our parking space which had a perfect view of the space needle. We had a champagne toast out of plastic cups while we watched fireworks preceded by the ball drop.
It was a magical night with the people I love the most.
If a night could give you a big, cozy hug this night was the most embracing.
What a great way to start out a new year.
I hope everyone else had similarly wonderful evenings.
I even got to see some snow in the mountains.
My only complaint is that I didn't see any bears. Maybe next time though.
The big "32" is just around the corner. Stick around to see what this year's adventures will bring.
Until next time xoxo,
Cherie Bobomb
